Palm Springs Art Museum

Palm Springs Art Museum is the largest cultural institution in the Coachella Valley and includes two locations in the downtown area. The flagship building, which was designed by noted architect E. Stewart Williams, features compelling art exhibitions, a vast permanent collection, two outdoor sculpture gardens, the Museum Store, Persimmon Bistro & Wine Bar, and the Annenberg Theater—all in a 150,000-square-foot, architecturally significant building. The Palm Springs Art Museum Architecture and Design Center, Edwards Harris Pavilion, features exhibitions and programming that explore the rich topics of architecture and design, as well as The Vault store. Both locations offer free admission on Thursday evenings from 4:00-8:00 p.m. as well as the first Sunday of every month. In Palm Desert, the museum manages and curates the four-acre Faye Sarkowsky Sculpture Garden which is open 24/7, year round.
