AMOCA / American Museum of Ceramic Art

Nestled in the heart of the Pomona Valley, the American Museum of Ceramic Art is the largest ceramics museum in the country. Founded in 2001, it features five rotating exhibition galleries and one of the largest ceramic studio spaces in the country (over 12,000 square feet). The 10,000+ works of art in AMOCA’s permanent collection include extensive collections focused on Southern California, including early 20th-century California production ware and an extensive collection of significant works by prominent Southern California ceramic artists. AMOCA is also home to an internationally significant collection of 18th and 19th century Mettlach (European) production ware. Tours, educational programs, introductory classes, artist residencies, and master classes await visitors. Open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays 11 am – 4 pm. More information at www.AMOCA.org
